What is currency and whose picture prints on currencies?

This type of questions can be discuss there and take a look why dr Ambedkar's picture is not on any currency ? From my above statement you get a look that there is no any currency on which dr Ambedkar's picture is printed.

If we talk about whose picture comes on currency then we think about that country's past and its struggles and also about the people who played an important role in the struggles. So why Ambedkar's photo is not on indian currency?

Indian currency has picture of mahatma gandhi because he was a person whom whole india knew and he always chosen the way of silence and peace and that is also a major reason why whole india knew and respects mahatma gandhi and he also played a very important role in Indian struggle for independence and from Britishers. He was a symbol of peace and he died on 30 January 1948 and that's why he didn't take a part in constitution making process. And to remember him we and indians print their picture on our currency.

Dr ambedkar was a reformer. he reform society and made a peacefull society and he made all people in India equal before every law. He was not a freedom fighter. He struggled for rules and regulations and the existence of law should be in India so that india can run in a right and peaceful way. That's why you can think why there is no picture of ambedkar on any currency.

Indian currency
Indian currency looks like this this contains mahatma gandhi's image not Ambedkar's image.
Like indian currency many countries in world have their own great person picture printed on their currency. If we take an example of us dollar then us dollar have a picture of George Washington. He was also a great person for us because  I think he was the first President of united states and a military officer and he played a important role in the American revolution he lead the forces and won against Britishers. From that time he was a hero of united states.
